Congratulations to Matt Gladfelter, Edna Fernandez-Figueroa, and Riley Buley for completing their graduate degrees. Matt is sticking around to start his PhD, Edna is starting a remote sensing focused postdoc with Stephanie Rogers, and Riley is starting his new job as Senior Water Program Lead position with the Meskwaki Nation in Iowa.

Matt Gladfelter recently received two awards, including the MS-level Swingle Award and an Auburn University Presidential Graduate Fellowship to continue his fantastic research in the lab as part of his PhD. Congrats, Matt!

Our new colleague, Dengjun “Kevin” Wang, who just joined us in January has already gotten a research grant from the Alabama Water Resources Research Institute (USGS). Nice job, Kevin.
