The lab is growing again. Big welcome to our new undergrad researchers, Lilly, Chris, and Tyler, and high school researcher, Evin.

Kevin Wang (PI) and I just learned that the USDA Institute for Bioenergy, Climate and Environment program is supporting our new three year project titled, Elucidating Nutrient Loads and Bioavailability to Cyanobacteria in Catfish Ponds for Sustainable Aquaculture. We are super excited to continue our research in west Alabama with our wonderful aquaculture farmer collaborators.

The lab is saying goodbye to several undergrad researchers, Lauren, Parker, and Ainsley! We will miss y’all.

Auburn students won several awards at the recent SE SETAC meeting in Orlando, FL. Ashley Hennessey (2nd from right) won the Best Oral Presentation award!!

April has already been great for the lab.

Matt Gladfelter won a Merriwether Fellowship, which is one of the highest honors for a graduate student.

During the recent This is Research Symposium, Ashley Hennessey won the best graduate student STEM poster, and Michael McDonald won the best graduate student poster for the College of Agriculture.
