Matt Gladfelter recently received two awards, including the MS-level Swingle Award and an Auburn University Presidential Graduate Fellowship to continue his fantastic research in the lab as part of his PhD.  Congrats, Matt!

More good news for the new year!  Michael’s drinking water focused field experiment focused on examining interactions between dissolved nitrogen, taste and odor compounds, and cyanobacteria and actinobacteria has been published.  Nice job, Dr. Chislock!  Chislock, M. Edna’s paper focused on algal blooms in Alabama drinking water reservoirs has been published.  This was a great collaboration among our lab, water utilities around the state, and our friends at ADEM.  Fernandez-Figueroa, E.
